Was wondering if a Mike Fernandez was still there? He was a nurse who had worked with my wife years ago at St John’s hospital and I believe his family owned Fernandez restaurant. Haven’t been back since 1986 but plan on coming through San Angelo next month and wanted to stop by. Use to live the Faitas!

I understand place gets busy but can't answer back to a a customer with a smart remark! I asked for a "tamale plate" because logically tameles should already be cooked... So I ask the waiter "it shouldn't be too long right? He looks at me and says" I'm not cooking it brother " and walks away... Haven't even tried the food but so far thats my rating...

They served quickly, were attentive, they modified the recipe for us. Very good food. We'll be back.

Im from the valley of TX and we stopped here and it was good but hot salsa a little salty and too much garlic?? and enchilada sauce had too much comino. But service was good and everyone is friendly.

We've been eating here for several years. Never had a bad experience, food is always great as is the service. Feels more like home than a restaurant. We buy the hot sauce to take home, it's spicy but delicious! Will continue to enjoy their food for years to come!
